I just want to make sure I know how to calculate it correctly. You divide by the height of the target in mils or the width? Either way my math wasn't mathin 😅
Both Applied Ballistics and Kestrel have put out how to videos on them. Most features are pretty straight forward once your profile is set up in the device.

Damn. I was gonna walk my guess in with a follow up.
So the Math should be (40"×27.77) ÷ .5696 = 1950.14 yards?

You can do either as long as you do it consistently.
Always use the largest dimension of what you're measuring for less error. So on this target, using the target height is the better option.
