Tether to undertake full audit by top 12 firm for transparency over USDT reserves

  1. more like we're using a less reputable firm because the more reputable ones don't want to touch that shit ^

  2. Be advised, the website finbold.com has proven to be an unreliable source of information. Please verify/fact-check the information in the article from independent sources before relying on it or coming to any concusion.

  3. At least it was marked Unreliable Source. The day that Tether gets audited will be the same day that frogs sing in the rain.

  4. tldr; Tether (USDT) is set to carry out an audit with a top 12 firm in order to provide more transparency on its reserves. The audit is not with one of the big four auditors owing to concerns over repetitional risk caused by the absence of legislative regulations around stablecoins. Tether CTO Paolo Ardoino is optimistic that the failure of Terra will hasten the development of a regulated framework for stablecoins and their backing

  5. Is it going to be a snap shot of a specific time on a specific date where they ignore a huge deposit of cash an hour before and that is gone an hour later?

  6. I don't see anything wrong with the fact that Tether will be able to confirm the transparency of USDT reserves. Perhaps other stablecoins should think about a similar audit.
