Favorite recipes with ground beef. I have 30 pounds in the freezer and all I can ever think of is tacos, spaghetti, and hamburgers.

  1. Meatloaf! Try different styles: Italian, barbecue, Southwestern. Chili. Moussaka!! And I bet you haven’t tried this before: South African Indian-inspired dish called

  2. Meatloaf, stuffed peppers, real hamburger helper (not the boxed shit) meatballs , vegetable soup with ground beef, . Sorry I'm at work and don't have recipes on me but these are all easy to make! Cheers!

  3. I love to make hamburger steaks in a frying pan and smother them with sautéed onions and/or mushrooms. Sometimes I'll make a gravy too and serve with mashed potatoes. It's simple but a quick meal.

  4. Oh that reminds me of a meal my family makes called hamburger gravy where we basically take hamburger, cream of mushroom soup, mushrooms and onions and put it on top of mashed potatoes. It's so good!

  5. Lettuce wraps! Saute onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey and Sriracha. Serve with either romaine or iceberg. Also taco lettuce wraps. Same idea just do Mexican seasonings and add cheese, salsa, sour cream. Ya know, whatever you put on your taco. You can do it Greek too. Do some red onion, Greek seasonings, chopped cucumber and feta and tomatoes. Serve it on naan bread or pita with tzaziki sauce. Also do tater tot casserole. Just saute ground beef, season it, then mix with cream of mushroom soup, add a little water so its a bit juicy. Put a layer of tots at bottom on casserole dish then pour meat mixture over tots, top with cheese then cover and bake 350 for 30 minutes. Let me know if you have questions. Happy cooking

  6. Kind of a spin on an egg roll in a bowl. Crumble and brown the ground beef with onions and garlic. Near the end of cooking add a bag of shredded cabbage and carrots. In a separate bowl mix some soy sauce, sesame oil, a little brown sugar, ginger, pepper flakes and five spice if you have it. Mix into the ground beef and cabbage mixture. Yum!

  7. I grew up not knowing you could make stroganoff with anything BUT hamburger. I still prefer it. The other primary ingredient was Campbell's cream of mushroom soup. Plus the usual sour cream and actual mushrooms. Always served over rice in our house.

  8. I made this once (Persian Seared Eggplant and Beef with Tomatoes) and loved it so much I refer to it as Persian Tacos and serve it with small flour street tortillas instead of pita or naan. And experiment with the turmeric, I find I like it with a heavy dose!

  9. Mashed potatoes and hamburger gravy. Large crumble and brown burger. Make fake-y gravy (Gravy Master, Better than Bouillon, etc.) and add burger. Serve over potatoes.

  10. - shepherd's pie simplified (ground beef topped with mashed potatoes, often with corn and other veggies as a layer or mixed in) -- pate chinois

  12. Shaami Kabebs. I got my recipe from the book Parwana, which is from a Pakistani kitchen. I’m sure you can find something comparable online.

  13. What’s wrong with those? Try lasagna - gr. Beef with sausage, chopped onions, garlic, Roma tomatoes (ripe) and fresh basil. Make sure you follow the directions on the lasagna noodles, use Ricotta cheese with beaten eggs, and flat leaf Italian parsley. Do as many layers as you can without the mixture overflowing your lasagna pan, with lots of shaved Parmesan and fresh shredded Mozzarella, in your layers. Add your Italian spices in the meat mixture and bake at 350 for about 40 minutes or until bubbly. Boil you noodles first of course. Let it set for 15 minutes before making serving pieces. It will be very hot. You can add chiffonade basil pieces over each serving if you like. That’s almost like mine.

  14. Chinese takeout style beef and broccoli, but sub the ground beef for the sliced beef. Brown the ground beef, add broccoli and cook until tender. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, broth/water and Sriracha if you want a kick. Add a corn starch slurry to make it saucy. Serve with rice.
