  1. Well, good for you taking advantage of the day! Did you fall for the false summit? I can imagine Barr Trail would be a little more treacherous (oddly) because it is mostly shaded. Welcome to Colorado!

  2. Thanks! It was a feat, but I’m glad I can say I’ve done it now. Luckily my boss had prepared me and told me ahead of time or else I know no would have haha

  3. I had a pretty good week and am excited for the weekend. I'm doing the incline on Sunday so any tips are appreciated! I hope everyone has a great weekend!

  4. When I tell you my stomach dropped at first glance😳. That’s just one reason night diving freaks me the fuck out

  5. Correct me if I’m wrong, but from what I saw they did what trained lifeguards should have done per the Red Cross and StarGuard. If you have an unconscious victim in the water you get them out by any means necessary in order to provide care. Backboarding takes a back seat at that point because it’s life over limb.

  6. Where did you get the fish at? I’ve always wanted to make my own, but can never find where to get safe salmon to eat

  7. Could you explain the rabbit thing? I think I know what you mean, but I’m down to learn something new ☺️

  8. I’m the exact same way. My emotions get heightened and I feel like I’m either going to cry or snap at someone the first couple of days. For the anger I suggest finding an outlet like running or kick boxing. I notice a difference when I exercise on my period. I always feel better and not as angry. For the sadness I second what was said above by watching a sad movie that will make you cry. I always feel better after a good cry sesh

  9. C. I had to do an internship for my undergrad Aquatics degree and my best friends ex-uncle owned the place. Moved up to be assist HR after my masters degree. Its been an okay job, but I’m ready to move on and use my other degree more

  10. Sorry time: When I was teaching a class a couple years ago we were doing spinal hand holds, chin splint to be specific. As a female instructor I know it can get awkward for the guys when they have to rescue me (I usually play victim for spinal handholds to make sure they’re doing it right). But this one time topped it all.

  11. I’m still paying on my fed loans. It’s going toward the principle now and paying the actual loan down and not just all to interest. I’m not paying anything outrageous on them. Just the normal monthly amount, but it’s something.

  12. The Red Cross won’t let us teach until social distancing is completely over wherever you live. I talked to them the other day about it and that’s what they told me at least 🤷‍♀️

  13. Thank you for posting this! It made me day literally 100% better! <3

  14. I didn’t even have to read the title to know this was about Jenna Marbles haha. I saw the picture and my first thought was “Water your Cermet or it will not grow” haha

  15. Regarding your finances, does all of your money go toward bills, groceries, rent, etc., or do you have some left over and end up spending it rather than saving it?

  16. Spending rather then saving. Bills take up the majority of my money, but there’s always that little bit that you don’t spend on bills and that’s where I slip up....

  17. Okay, makes sense. What works for me is concluding if something is a need or a want. Often times, we spend money on things we want rather than things we actually need to get by. Once you're able to distinguish between needs and wants, you have to exercise will power in order to refrain from buying things that are wants. It's easier said than done, and I know you have to splurge once in a while, but if you can restructure your mindset and approach things differently, you'll be able to save. There are quite a few other things that I do to save money, but I'll leave it at that for now. As to the rest of the things you described in your post, I can relate on many levels. I'm 29 and have spent months working on finding motivation and not letting adulthood get the best of me. It's still a work in progress, but I know how tough it can be sometimes.

  18. Thank you! I used to do that and got out of the practice. Maybe that method will work!
