  1. Apparently the building was meant for Space Aliens arriving from Jupiter. That’s what I heard anyway.

  2. I just spread gossip and when I’m called on it I say “well that’s what I heard”.

  3. I literally said I can't vouch for it but you don't like to read further than one sentence.

  4. And this 🤡 clown just went on the other day about how maybe the GOP is too toxic and has lost its way.

  5. They could start by upgrading the 30 year old Dart train sets 😂 Every time I take a ride, I feel like in a 70’s New York movie.

  6. It keeps it nice and cheap, I'd rather use the dart than spend that crazy money they spend in the UK on their new fancy trains in London.

  7. What’s nice about a 30 year old noisy train without air conditioning, digital displays, and terrible stability/shaking constantly?

  8. Enough milk to make milkshakes, I still react internally with horror when my wife will pour a large glass of milk, that stuff doesn't grow on trees. Yet I'll go buy a beer at the bar (for twice the price of an entire 3l milk) like it's nothing.

  9. You could get a 4-bed bungalow 45 mins outside of Dublin for €300k. You could probably get a 3-bed house for €220k in the same type of area.

  10. Okay so I've looked I'm wrong they're €400k. But in County Dublin they're around €600k.

  11. Not disagreeing that house prices in Dublin are expensive, but there are houses available within commuting distance of Dublin for less than half the price. The distance between Dublin and its commuter towns is much smaller than it is in some other countries, albeit public transport from our commuter towns is poor at best.

  12. What's commutable distance, these days it's tenous. If you can take public transport great, if not it's a bit more questionable. I mean Naas to the city centre is 1hr-2hrs according to Google.

  13. So much off here, firstly the angle, secondly the height and a third the distance. Mounting your TV in the 3rd floor neighbours apartment across the street is just too much.

  14. I swear some people can't read. First they nobody can, he corrects explaining the nuance and then they say everyone can leaving out the nuance.

  15. My first thought: That's awesome that means this year it must be 22/22...doh!

  16. "A number of windows dating from the original 18th century building will be removed, restored and reinstalled and two 300 year-old tapestries hanging in the former House of Lords chamber will be cleaned and restored as part of the project."

  17. That's total liabilities per citizen if you look to the right there's total assets per citizen, those two for the most part cancel each other out. There's a +-$2000 net debt per citizen (think of a balance sheet in accounting). Look at the government debt per citizen at the top right that's what you mean, it's $6000-$7000.

  18. My trending topics in Twitter still has “fact checkers debunk misleading claims ahead of midterms” never actually seen an outdated trending topic like that before.

  19. Seems like it may be a good thing in a way, nature healing. In Japan, boring politics has fallen off the radar and it's all metal gundam and anime now.

  20. Bitcoin is backed by math rather than good faith. There's a mathematical limit to what can be produced, rather than relying on the fed.

  21. They’ve also been evacuating citizens from there and banging on about a purported ‘dirty bomb’. This could also be a sign of something uglier, but I’m biased due to anxiety disorder.

  22. The dirty bomb is probably the dam wall up north, try to lure the Ukrainians into Kherson and one they're there use it. Hopefully Ukraine push hard to liberate that Dam wall.

  23. These dumb fucks couldn't just relax their stupid backward laws, instead they had to double down. ali khamenei and his islamic revolutionary guard corps are pathetic humans, I hope they burn in hell, once they inevitably get there.

  24. This mindset in the US that you just work more seems crazy to me, I'm sure it's a significant part of the problem. Telling people to get 2nd and 3rd jobs is bonkers. Nobody in a country with a GDP per capita of $69000 should have to work more than 40 hours a week to make ends meet, at least at the basic level (even more so with a country with such economies of scale).

  25. The number of people with two jobs in the US has been pretty constant at around 4.5 percent. It's not that common.

  26. Saw that someone posted a g shock before saying that's an electronic watch, hope I'm not braking the rules here.

  27. Is the picture in your post your actual watched received, I noted the ones on the link don't show branding and wonder if they would when the arrive?

  28. I finished watching Enola Holmes 2, 1 minute before opening this.

  29. I still don't get it, what has he done aside from retrench people? Should we have a post with the Collison brothers saying they have no willies either?
