  1. My wife has been saying this for years. I never noticed. I’m showing her this article immediately.

  2. My mom still has some from 1984. It's heavier and clings way better than the current stuff. She got like 1000ft of the stuff.

  3. I would! Never seen my mom do silly stuff so this would be amazing. My dad on the other hand was jointer. We got him tassels as a gag gift for Christmas one year. Yes he wore them and permanently scarred us for life. He would always do pranks and stuff like that. Miss him.

  4. What an amazing pairing your parents must've been. That might sound sarcastic but I mean that so genuinely. It's the best when you've got one that's more serious or calm and the other that's just a big goofball of hilarity. I'm sorry to see he's not longer with you. Sounds like he made the world a little bit of a better place.

  5. Thank you. Yes he did. In humor and as a doctor he did his best to help everyone.

  6. The Earth has been hit plenty of times by meteors, its just this one hasn't been eroded away due to its location

  7. I remember hearing about one in the Appalachian mtns. Something about it being the only open path through the mountains that settlers could use to head west. Forgot the name but it's a town now with alot of golf courses now I think.

  8. I am 5' 7" as well but a few years ago I was 163lb. My old jobs gave me a panic attack every other week. I was so tired mentally that I just slump on the couch everyday. Moved back home to care for folks a few years ago. Dropped down to 136lb. Ate less fast food, sugary drinks, and reduced my red meat intake. A change in jobs/location reduced so much stress as well. I wasn't wasting 2hr a day in my car commuting. Working 40hrs a week for $9hr to be yelled at by customers and micromaning managers. Now I am a Carpenter with an amazing boss that gave me 2 pay raises this year alone. I even built up muscle! Now at 143-145lb but my waistline is smaller than when I was 136lb. Also being able to treat my ADHD helped as well.

  9. Yeah we currently have a spare unused massive entertainment unit in there with old unused stuff sitting on top of it, I’m thinking I might turn it into a little hideout nook for them to hide in/under while they free roam the room

  10. I found using leftover coroplast from cages to make barriers works wonders. Did this for an area they kept hiding under. Was a pain to get them out. I just use bricks or rocks to prop it against the furniture. An added bonus is that I can put chew sticks in the brick holes.

  11. idk if Giant Eagle is a grocery store you can find across all of the US but I was doing some grocery shopping on my lunch break and a guy came into the store with a gun, Apparently intending to kill one of the cashiers ( later found out it was the guys Ex GF ) and then himself but he ended up shooting himself in the head. I just happened to be 2 checkout lanes away from him when it happened

  12. I used to work at the largest grocery store in town (at the time). The week before I started a guy blew his brains out in the parking lot. He was going through a divorce and had his ex sit in the car with him. Killed himself with her sitting next to him.

  13. Even worse is that they added it to Stories 2 but didn't make it rideable.

  14. That would have been fun. Helicopter mountain goat flinging you across the map! I'd never use another monster again. Yeet me to the next location.

  15. Guinea pigs do that, it's totally normal. Mine loved to show me how far he could spray his pee when I brushed him or cut his nails.

  16. I had one gal who had long range misses. She could pee 6ft up the wall or across the room. Tiny buns of steel.

  17. Furries as a group have a suspicious amount of money, technical expertise, and artistic talent. Clearly, they run the world and only allow people to make fun of them because they get off on it.

  18. I always toy with the idea of doing art commissions for furries but it terrifies me what would be requested. My roommate told me horror stories of something she drew for that sweet furry money.

  19. We generally do not order commissions from non-furry artists, as it keeps our community currency flow within the fandom to support our artists who otherwise would be competing with people who have no business in the fandom.

  20. I'd most likely be a scalie. A dragon/Dino lizard creature. Used to draw dragonkin a ton way way back when. With my severe ADHD I can't even commit to a DnD character.

  21. My uncle used to jump into the rooms we were playing in and yell, scaring us. Used to make my sister cry and make me scream and flail. He thought it was hilarious. We told him to stop. My aunt, my mom, everyone.

  22. My dad did something similar but he would hide behind doors. My dad was a big guy at 6'3" so ot was impressive he could hide. He would jump out and scare us. Well we got wise to it and started jumping out scaring him as well. Then it got to the point we would lean against the door and squish him. My other siblings told him to stop so he did with them. He still scared my other sister and I but we loved it. Miss him.

  23. This sub cracks me up with the "i'm new to this - what do you guys think" posts and then its some professional level project or shop. lol

  24. Oh man this stuff puts the shop I work at to shame. It's all cabinets/tables clients were throwing away. Then we slapped on shelves from off cuts of wood. It's so cluttered but I love it. Wish ours was this clean and neat.

  25. Same for all my ladies except for 2. Had Coconut, Vanilla Wafer (Nelly for short), Truffle Tuft, Latte, Mocha, Coco Puff and Cinnamon (Cinna bun).

  26. Had this happen in my room as a kid. The maggots filled the ceiling light fixture. Mildly was an understatement.

  27. They do. I buy that to save space in the fridge. Use it mostly to make fruit smoothies since I found out vitamin C prevents my meds from getting absorbed in the morning. It's alot cheaper too and I don't have to worry about drinking it all before it goes bad.

  28. Thanks for the info. Might get some. We used to get the lime one too. Was so good.

  29. Ooo I have not seen the lime but my store sells the store brand of apple, grape and oj. Gonna have to look for lime now.

  30. Can confirm it was only a target in some event quests, and if I'm not mistaken it took a while for those to become available. Before then, they released a quest called "An Ominous Cry" which had a Qurupeco that always called a Savage, so people farmed it with that. And before that, it was RNG farmed with the Gamechanger food skill. You also couldn't carve the only Savage-specific material (Black Blood) off it so capturing was the way to go, with a measly 20% chance. It didn't have its own armor set in 3U, you had to get 4 of these for the regular Jho waist.

  31. Oh I farmed that Qurupeco quest till my 3ds buttons popped off. The hilarity of bodies flying and jho spewing chunks at us. Then there was Qurupeco laughing at us. Man I love that evil doofy bird.

  32. That "I've worked all day" smell is different. Lots of men smell like iron to me after hard work or exercise and I don't know why. It's different than the "you need to shower more often" BO smell.

  33. Huh. I never noticed that and I work around sweaty guys all day at the construction site. Is it only men? I am a woman and do not smell like metal after work. My BO smells more spicy for some reason.

  34. Just go to mensa.org they have a free self test from Mensa Norway which is probably more accurate than most of those 10$ websites

  35. I always wonder what my IQ really is but every single test is timed. My ADHD riddled brain always takes the scenic route. Needed extra time on all my test since elementary school.

  36. I have a 20yr old car where it looks like this when it rains. It sucks so bad because it's in the mountains and everyone uses high beams. Feel bad for my mom who has astigmatism and cataracts.

  37. Romaine, red leaf and green leaf, no iceberg there is no nutritional value in iceberg.

  38. Also romaine has alot of calcium so be careful with sensitive piggies. Every pig I had to be on a super low calcium diet.

  39. Not all of us have. I’m 5’7 with an average 125-130 lbs and used to travel often. Whenever I fly now, the seats are so crammed and narrow that I am in literal pain by the end of the flight

  40. I am 5'8 and 140lbs. My knees hit the seat infront of me. Most times I almost can't not bend forward to reach under my seat for that flotation device or even tie my shoes. The seats have gotten thinner too! I can barely sit in them. It's crazy!

  41. I used to do work rehabbing old houses in Tampa. And there are so many things wrong with this image that I almost feel like they deserved this.

  42. Seriously! I douth they even wore a mask while sanding in a small space. I've had to drape walls, floors, counter and furniture in plastic when doing remodels for customers. The amount of dust a "small" project makes is insane. This whole room just makes me crazy!

  43. You forgot to mention your Helix mattress!

  44. That is honestly the only item I bought from all those sponsorships. Way better than the 30yr old mattress I was sleeping on. Still had to put a 3" foam topper on though cause it's not as side sleeper friendly as they say.

  45. Who the hell keeps a mattress for over 20 years lol

  46. My grandma who bought it new. Never used. Then passed away and my parents got it like 15yrs ago to use in a guest room. Hard as rocks.

  47. Damnnnnnn. Never knew monsters could die out of bounds in third gen, they always happened in 1st and 2nd gen tho.

  48. Oh it has happened to me in all the older gens. The worst was when the monster would stand in the zone line and range attack you. Also when the monster would yeet you into the next zone and just camp there waiting....... then yeet you again as soon as you entered!
