When you come across a feel-good thing.

Shows the Silver Award... and that's it.

  1. Per this, it's Apple that's pushing only a week's data

  2. Thank you for sending me the links! It is frustrating to move to a new platform and not know what the risks are.

  3. That's a great cause. I fear though once this become widespread enough the government can simple shut down the Fi workaround. After all Fi uses local cellphone network, which the government totally control!

  4. They won't do that because Fi uses T-Mobile and US Mobile towers in China. If they block Fi, US and European travelers with T-Mobile phones are blocked as well. I know TMobile is shit and has way fewer customers in the US, but it's big in Europe.

  5. You don't need to use a VPN, just use Google Fi as the network that you will be connected to is T-Mobile. Roaming in China with the US carrier means that your internet traffic is not blocked by the great firewall. The best thing about Fi is that the roaming data will cost you the same. ($10/ GB). If you are in the downtown of a metropolitan city like Shanghai, you have 4G and 5G. But if you are in a rural area, no guarantee on what type of network you will get.

  6. Fi = unlocked T-Mobile is sim locked. Fi is better cuz when you are traveling to Japan for instance, you don't need to buy an expensive T-Mobile roaming plan. You can either continue to use your Fi ($10 per GB, same price as domestic data) or buy a local temporary travel plan.

  7. "hands-on experience creating a simple Blockchain contract and will be able to converse on a practical basis about what Blockchain can and cannot do. " Blockchain contract is based on Solidity/JavaScript. You need to know medium level object oriented programming for this class. If you haven't programmed before, stick with asset management classes

  8. Fintech is a computer programming and stats class under the hood. Not made for soft core econ students

  9. i really appreciate you sending me this. Tried all these steps. none of them worked. honestly, i will check the google store when i get back to NYC and see if they have any further insight, but I am basically set on forking $1.5k for an iphone. I've already had two Google phones (nexus5 and now this pixel4) do these hardware failures, and you don't see this shit from iphones unless they are literally 4+ years old.

  10. But in the first place you shouldn't use a 2019 phone in 2022? Pixel 4 no longer has system update and security support. It's a matter of time to replace your phone and soon you can't even update most of the apps. I would suggest you trade in your Pixel 4 for the Pixel 7. Today is the last day for the trade in program.

  11. I clip the plastic card under the sun visor and take it out every time I enter the garage. Don't suggest hanging the card on your rear view mirror because it's gonna rattle like crazy.

  12. I'm pretty sure the feature isn't even released yet?

  13. My people! I really do want to like it and used to be able to eat sour cream without issue but now both Greek yogurt and sour cream both have a terrible smell and taste to me. I compare it to a wet dog smell cause I dno how else to explain it to my boyfriend who constantly makes me fancy parfaits with it that make me wanna hurl

  14. Also smells similar to a dish sponge left in a pot of pasta water for days. Moldy funky and lightly spoiled

  15. Plain greek yogurt (before stirring) smells like sweaty foot or trash to me. The sour smell to me is funky and disgusting. But if you mix it well with the fruit jam underneath the yogurt and serve it to me I have no issue with it. I also hate ranch and sour cream. They always smell like dish sponge after being soaked in water for days.

  16. *One anecdotal piece of evidence, “Yeah EA must have boosted pack luck”. People really don’t understand how probability works here lmao

  17. Yeah lol they think their 1 pack opened somehow correlates to increased pack odds, when there are literally thousands of packs being opened every minute

  18. You are right. Opening each pack is an independent event, which means that getting shit players in your first 85×10 will not guarantee you good players in the second one. Also people's brains are based on Bayesian statistics. In your mind, you set EA's drop rate as your prior probability, and update the posterior distribution according to the players you have pulled from the packs. But EA's prior is ground truth so your posterior is departing from the prior and thus people have that false sense about EA boosting pack luck or decreasing pack luck. The only legit way I know for sure that will boost your luck is to log off for a week and EA will deliberately award you good players to keep you active.

  20. Looks ugly asf. Don't know why Apple enforces this "classic" look... Super bulky body, lots of ports, huge rubber pads at the bottom....

  21. It is because they brought back the ports (like the HDMI for instance) and magsafe. I have one of these, not bulky at all. Solid. but not bulky. Not everything has to be so slim it's next to useless.

  22. A separate connector makes more sense. Better looking laptop and not everyone really needs 2 HDMI ports at once. Most of the meeting rooms support wifi screen sharing nowadays / type C output.

  23. Actually, I have the Nuwave wok and it gets QUITE hot very fast. Under 30 seconds to go from room temp to 550+F. And yes, the induction area seems to be somewhat curved, but it's still only about 5-6 inches across. So far even my good peanut oil starts smoking ferociously at around 450, and that's when Kenji always says to start cooking, so I don't know when I will need (or want) to get it much past 500 unless I take it outside.

  24. Wait, no wok hei? Then what's the point of getting this set?

  25. You haven't used google pixel lines then. All the other android phones are trash and pixels offer you the same amount of polish as iOS (to me it's even bolder and better)

  26. Atal looks good on paper but I feel like he always disappear in game. I have used both

  27. You should buy SS Ramos. He offers you so much more presence than Atal. He's everywhere auto-defending.

  28. What are you talking about? Must be SS Kimpembe and SS Ramos duo. As B2B CM, Ramos is so much better than Rafinha and Atal. He is so much stronger, heads in all corner kicks, auto defends, super aggressive and diligent, and scores long shots everyday. If you can't afford Ramos then try to submit summer tokens for 95 Kimpembe, easily the best B2B type of DM in Ligue 1.

  29. All fodders are nothing exciting. More colorful cards doesn't mean this is a better pack. I really don't know why people are so hyped during Futties promo lol. It's just a promo to pack some fodders and have the high tier market destroyed...
