  1. Might he be the most successful black entertainer in American history? That might be true. Stand ups and a show and movies….all canon in each segment, yeah man, it’s crazy.

  2. Yea. I quit my small company to do my own thing back in May, and got hired by someone who offered me good pay to climb for him this past month. Doing your own thing is fantastic and the freedom is priceless. The money is better, yes. But, I eventually got exhausted doing every element of this trade on my own. That's finding work, giving estimates, actually doing the work, and then cleaning up. I don't want to invest in equipment that will tie me down to this particular area, and unfortunately I couldn't find a suitable partner. Now all I do is show up and climb, which is kind of all I really want to do, and do my own thing with my time off. Fortunately I was able to find a position that makes it worth it for me not to do my own thing. Hope any of this helps.

  3. I've thought the same exact thing! Like damn, too bad he couldn't be out here In the crowd watching himself drop some fire nu-nu just yelling "whhhaaaatt the fuuuuucccckkk" while some amazing visuals are melting on the wall behind him. I wonder who blows tipper away the way he does us? Hopefully he gets to experience this kind of moment enough in his life.

  4. Probably some of the folks who have performed at his events. Specifically the 4321 lineup (LTJ Bukem, Ozric Tentacles, Invisibl Skratch Picklz)

  5. It feels really sturdy and like it'll last forever. Chinese cast iron is relatively thin. Mine heats up quickly on the coil stove top I have and retains heat after putting cold meat or something in it.

  6. that’s the exact one i was looking at

  7. It's a great pan. As other people have said, it's a tad heavy compared to CS but a wide spatula that can move a lot of food in a motion is my solution to not being able to toss comfortably. Also the wok can stay on the heat this way as my stove top is just barely hot enough

  8. I really wish I could take it slow but my boss is insisting that on my 4th climb I should just climb up 100feet and feel the adrenaline, he says that once I get that high I’ll never fear any tree in my path and now I’m just stumped on how to tell him I’m not him and I need to learn a different way. I’d love to take the climbing gear out myself and just learn slowly but even I know that’s stupid due to if I do mess up it’s a death sentence.

  9. Fuck that, don't let anybody make you do something you're not ready for. That's how accidents happen.

  10. Nice! How do you get them to stay thicker and not fall flat after baking?

  11. Your answer is sufficient for my question, thanks. Is there anything else to be careful of when taking such big pieces? I am not used to cutting a tree directly in half.

  12. Cutting into the the sides perpendicular to your face cut so that only the middle is attached will help the top fall off smoother and help prevent it from putting more stress on the spar as it falls

  13. DJing really isn't that hard to do.

  14. you know there are rice cookers that everyone in Asia uses that just automate the whole thing and do it right the same way every time?

  15. Yea, I actually have one on right now. Brilliant machines especially for restaurants

  16. Reporting back to confirm these are the best cookies I've ever had. The flavor is obviously fantastic but the texture is remarkable and notable. A slight crunch on the outside with a moist interior. I froze the remaining dough and look forward to a life lived with this recipe in hand.

  17. That sucks. I've had mine since May and the build quality feels extremely premium and solid to me.

  18. I originally thought the latency would be too high for gaming as well but I haven't actually noticed a delay so I use them for gaming.

  19. That's unlike anything I've ever seen, where is this generally speaking? I agree with the other comment about the 4th one, holy mackerel. What's the species? Thanks for posting BTW 👍
