  1. The Bends is incredible. The King of Limbs is easily weakest in their discography.

  2. Some of TKoL bores me to death, but Codex and Separator are two of my favorite songs. I'd say it's their weakest album, but even their weakest album is at least decent overall.

  3. i’d go as far to say that separator is one of their best songs, it’s just that good. the bassline especially.

  4. I agree. Also the only upbeat album closer they have that I can think of lol.

  5. Me too. More famously, Nikita Koshkin, which is why a lot of his music utilizes techniques that, until he came along, were unusual in classical compositions.

  6. I am planning on playing the Megaron Concerto for a Grad recital in the Spring, I had no idea he had a rock background. Now I'm even more excited to play it lol.

  7. There are interviews online where he mentions it almost in passing, but they're worth seeking out. He's an amazing guy, very humble, and always engages with fans. I'd asked him for permission to perform Usher once and he said if he had a dollar for everyone who performed just that piece, he could retire! Cool guy.

  8. He seems like a cool person. I'll have to look up interviews.

  9. I broke up with my ex-gf 6 months ago and I'm just starting date again lol. Dating right after a breakup sounds like a great way to bury your trauma instead of working through it.

  10. Morrowind. Tried it a few times when I was in in high school, after playing Oblivion for like 300 hours. I'd always get overwhelmed and give up on it within a few hours. I'm not sure what changed but one day I decided to give it another try and got hooked. It's been 10 years since I played through it for the first time and it's still my favorite game.

  11. I took a break because I started a new medication. Haven't wanted to drink since then so I haven't done it. It's only been a month but I haven't felt the urge at all, which has surprised me. Congrats on 106 days 👍

  12. This. There are days you can have the “what if I was single” and days you can be annoyed with your partner.

  13. I appreciate this. I broke up with a long-term gf a few months ago because I was having days where I felt like I didn't love her pretty consistently for a 3-4 months. I know it was right and all of my friends/family agree with what I did, but seeing all the "You still love them, you're just going through a phase" comments on this post made me second guess myself lol. Everyone's situation is different. People have to be able to make a decision and stick with it, no one else can tell you whether you did the right thing or not.

  15. I've seen some of your builds on the Grim Dawn forums and thought about trying one. Is melee Conjurer viable? Thanks!

  16. It genuinely isn't like your standard game. "Classes" aren't really the same here as they are in other games.

  17. Thanks for the feedback, I was actually looking at Purifier before I read your comment. Will probably do that or shieldbreaker.

  18. Thanks, thought the cross-eye pic was funny but I guess it may not come across that way lol.

  19. I figured, couldn't find anything on the internet about how long to wait before sleeping in the room. Thank you

  20. Sorry to comment so late, but I Googled this and found this thread.

  21. Spellscourge Battlemage

  22. Thank you! I liked DK, just got burned out I guess? Might try the Battlemage build at some point.

  23. Since you like soldier so much and cant decide on a second mastery just go pure soldier , you might like it even more . Apart from that blademaster was my choice for pure melee because i found it a well rounded combination of attack defence and utility.

  24. Might stick with soldier until endgame and then pick a secondary. Thanks!

  25. Is this with the low e string tuned to d? Otherwise that fingering at the start wouldn't make sense...

  26. He always puts really specific instructions in his scores and then does it differently in performance lol. I love working on his stuff though, really rewarding.

  27. Are you playing hardcore? If so, I wouldn't recommend it. You do get some tools to help squishiness (2x healing abilities in Pneumatic Burst +Blood of Dreeg, the latter having physical resistance as well on the upgrade, damage absorption on Possession). And you can stack life leech. But the low health of the class combo is hard to work with on hardcore if you don't know what you're doing.

  28. I'm not playing hard-core, can't stand to lose hours of progress lol. I might give it a try then, thank you!

  29. xJZA says:

2H Blade Arc DK (Bleed+Vitality dmg). Tanky ant lots of damage :D

  30. There's a quest to summon him? I haven't messed with the college much after finishing their main story

  31. I'm pretty sure it's the level 90 conjugation quest.

  32. Champion is very easy to pickup and play early from warfare being strong, and scales to be the best or one of the best classes late game so pick that

  33. Both is strong. Because warefare has a leftklick and deals more damage I'd recommend it. I found it also fun to play. The nature refresh skill also nicely interacts with the summoned warriors.

  34. I'm leaning towards Warfare, I'll go with that. Thank you!!

  35. Every band/artist has about 3 good albums in them. The rest will be mediocre-to-awful.

  36. Radiohead has 3 of the most well-recevied/respected alternative albums ever and every other album is at least good. They're an exception though, I think generally I agree.

  37. Radiohead-Creep Not really into any of the other tunes in the catalog

  38. I was looking for this take so I could downvote it. I think one needs to be a fan or at least show that they are knowledgeable about the band to be able to support this take. I hope it doesn't make you mad. The downvote and comment are in the spirit of Reddit's intent for the platform.

  39. I dont think its anywhere near their best song, but I always think about how OK Computer, Kid A, etc. wouldn't have happened if Creep hadn't made them popular.

  40. Definitely not their best song imo but they wouldn't have written all the amazing music that came after without it, so it deserves some credit. Radiohead fans love to complain about Creep but it's a good song.

  41. Ugh, know that, been there before. It's especially painful when the student has no skills to start with. Somehow I got shocked by the audacity of people who want to learn for free, but have 'no time to spare' for playing at least 2h a day...

  42. I ask my students to do an hour a week and half of them don't even do that much lol.

  43. Hmm heartland probably. I did EGO which makes it more extreme cause it to be leveled by area around riverville and heartland are lowest. Even that castle in and Pyrenees ruins in rivervale area are pretty low .

  44. I'm in heartland now, I'll keep doing that. I keep accidentally wandering into other areas and I get annihilated every time lol. Thanks!

  45. I’d recommend exploring as ur best option. Go to the different myrad towers and then just start looking around for caves, loot and bad guys. Plus you get xp for discovering new places and there’s a bunch of good side quests you’ll find along the way.

  46. That's what I'm doing, seems like the best way to level. Thank you!
