  1. It’s not the lowest temperature of all time… it’s just what you’ve seen… a friendly question

  2. I'm sure it's a friendly question. It's just I don't know/remember the lowest temperature I've experienced in Halifax. Again, I would have to google it.

  3. "I have seen the Canadian and American Rockies, the Andes, the Alps and the Highlands of Scotland, but for simple beauty, Cape Breton outrivals them all!"

  4. shameless plug, I live in Cape Breton and have an insta full of photos almost entirely from there:

  5. Just beautiful. Born on the Island and miss home tonight.

  6. Anthony Jeselnik is all over my Siruis Radio. So him, I would guess.

  7. He’s great, but isn’t he a little dark to be beloved by everyone?

  8. I don't know about beloved, but edgy comics have always been the most successful.

  9. What's to say when she's been brain washed into a cult? Oh well, at least the bangin' was spot on.

  10. Making fun of old people. Watching your parents lose their mental and physical strentgth is neither acceptable nor funny. It's actually heartbreaking.

  11. It's Randy. Always been Randy. We have too much in common.

  12. I put spinach on my home burgers....no fucking difference,

  13. Nepotism. Special treatment or advancment founded upon family or friendship will undoubtably kill morale and productivity, at the expensive of those already invested through effort and self sacrifice. It should be a fuking crime,

  14. Why does this stress you out? Are you responable to work the cash and police the self checkout simultaneously?

  15. Likely a career change. Or an attitude adjustment. Neither are exclusive.

  16. I second this. Although my in-laws would sometimes sub the macaroni for potato.

  17. For sure. German or some similar background? I'm such a potato lover. Lol

  18. God call, my wife's folks are from Belgium

  19. Where can I smoke weed and get an abortion??

  20. Nice, one state out of 50. Up here it's 10 provinces out of 10.

  21. On the east coast....rent a place with a wood stove. Lumber fuel is going cheap as of late.

  22. Canadian pharmacies require a prescription from an authorized practitioner before dispensing medications. So, you'll need a script from a Canadian doc to make it happen.

  23. It's all practical this year. A few NSLC gift cards, a $20 thing to Timmy's and a Steam card for the nephew. The wife and I will work out the rest in physical favours.

  24. Examination is not equivalent to re-education. That's the point I'm expressing here.

  25. Many will have to re-educate, not just take examinations -- for reasons I've already described and linked to.

  26. The only link you provided, the CFPC standards, describes the criteria required by foreign doctors looking to work within Canada. For the most part all that's needed is an examination and/or an equivalency assessment. Nobody in Canada is asking foreign trained doctors to begin medschool all over again...which is what you're implying. Hell, it's even easier for Americans like you, and the Brits and Australians to become Canadian physicians. Again, an examination is not a residency "re-do". Why are you suggesting otherwise. The same criteria exists in the United States and Europe. No country allows a foreign trained doctor to set up shop without some kind of vetting...and that's all that's happening here.
