  1. My guess is get neked run with arm on your head.

  2. Make sure you didn't learn to run at the Prometheus School of Running Away from Things. I've also heard the Rickon School of Running Away from Things is just as bad.

  3. If that price holds for the 13700k I can buy 2 x 12700k for nearly the same price if they dip a little bit, which is actually tempting cause I need two cpus. I was gonna grab two 13700k but dang those prices.

  4. I got a 12700k open box for $300 + tax and it is an OC monster. Feeling pretty good about that after seeing the prices and benchmarks that came out today.

  5. Yeah, I believe Intel had mobo manufacturers remove it from the BIOS, though if you're running a 1.0/old BIOS you should still have the option

  6. You can even mod the BIOS to replace a newer microcode with an older version (16 and below I think) and the newer BIOS will have the AVX512 option again. I'm looking at trying this for a cheap 12600K/B660 build I have.

  7. those are not very faithful, though. as you can see in the picture you need quite a few extra pixels per pixel to get an accurate representation. the options you mention generally take lots of shortcuts to avoid the expensive computations. if you want the CRT feel play on a CRT

  8. You can get something very close to the original look of a CRT using Retroarch with a core like Swanstation (Duckstation) to upscale the internal resolution by at least four and then downscale it to 1/4 of that and then apply a CRT shader like Royale on top.

  9. I prefer to say, "Vote against Republicans every chance you get." I'm not pro-Democrat, I'm vehemently anti-Republican. They are enemies to this country, as is anyone who supports them at any level of government.

  10. Yeah, but if you are doing that then do not choose the deferred interest option. You just get 5% cash back (this is not related to the 10% discount code)

  11. Not 5% cash back, 5% back in Best Buy rewards. In other words, you're limited to using the 5% back at Best Buy only.

  12. I can't stand Dannel Malloy. But I can't help but think that his extremely unpopular decision to go after the pension plans is the root of this amazing development

  13. An unlikeable person can be a good governor.

  14. We haven't had a president that was both good at the job and unlikable in my lifetime. If you're referring to Trump, he may have been both the worst president we've ever had and the worst person in that role... ever. He literally committed treason on more than one occassion and should be tried, convicted, and executed for it.

  15. I've got 2x16GB Hynix A-Die enroute right now. They're binned and being told they can do upwards of 8000 CL32 :P

  16. I'm curious to know if the Team Group sticks I have are actually A-die. They were manufactured in the first week of June this year. This is the part in Thaiphoon Burner that has me intrigued:

  17. I have whatever the latest version is as of yesterday. When I was initially tweaking these sticks watching a Buildzoid video where he was overclocking Hynix M-die on the same motherboard I have, he was able to manually set a very low tCWL setting of 16. I can't do that with these sticks, I have to use the auto setting. That got me thinking that maybe these aren't M-die. Wish there was another way to tell without taking off the heatsinks.

  18. It means that if you think you have a PCP you better make sure because once a practice gets consumed by a large system if you want to go then you have to book a "new patient appointment" which are generally months out. That's an annoying thing I just had to do.

  19. If you have insurance please make an appointment for an annual physical, even if you feel fine now. It's free, and as the other person mentioned, it takes months to be seen for the initial appointment but then you get put on an annual cycle and can be seen in a more urgent need much quicker.

  20. I'm fully aware of all that. But a major part of the problem is these months long waits.

  21. A submarine or a water/sewage pipe with an inspection port? I've seen both intakes for municipal water systems that are that big, and sewage outputs (don't swim near those)

  22. I just saw Emo open for Weird Al and he absolutely still got it.

  23. Would love to see the CB 23 ST result or even the CPU-Z bench ST result as an appetizer.

  24. I’ve been waiting for either a 6950xt or 3080ti (preferably 6950xt) to drop to $700 or less in the next month before pulling the trigger. What are the chances of that?

  25. My gut tells me its slim. If it does happen, it will be a lower end version of an AIB card. An MSI 3080 ti already hit $665 at Best Buy if you used their credit card to buy it with a promo code. That same price is still up, but I don't think you can actually get it now. On the used market, you will absolutely see deals though.

  26. In my state (PA) I qualified for Medicaid because of COVID expansions even when I was making as much as $2k a month after taxes. The normal cutoff is like, the poverty line.

  27. There's only one minority party to blame for that, oh and that rat fucking bastard from my state, Joe Lieberman.

  28. Here's a quick & dirty cost per frame analysis at 1440p (data taken from Hardware Unboxed) based on 0.95x, 1.25x, 1.6x for 4080-12, 4080-16 and 4090 respectively. Costs are from pcpartpicker for the cheapest version of each card available

  29. If you use the price you can get the OP card at with the 10% discount using the Best Buy credit card (665.99), the cost per frame for this 3080 ti is $4.21.

  30. That's usually because they are able to implement a lot of their agenda and it ends in over-reach so there is some backlash, and the "out" party promises to be the responsible one.

  31. I love to check the senate and house forecasts every few days at

  32. Imagine stanning for a decrepit geriatric Mr Magoo

  33. ^Imagine posting gossipy drivel about shit reality shows like Teen Mom as if it was your full time job.

  34. They also want to know who helped remove them. Who had access. Who saw them, who knows what's in them. That's a long, long list of potential suspects that probably being in prison, or worse.

  35. I'm pretty sure by this point even the undocumented Mar a Lago towel boy, Pico, has seen them. I mean, they were right there with the towels in an unlocked cabinet after all.

  36. I was substituted a Prius as a rental once and people would constantly flip me off on the highway for no apparent reason other than I was driving a Prius... That's not to say anything about the quality of the car, but it just reinforced why I generally don't like people.

  37. Recommendations on using the downscaling setting? Just testing with Mario 64, my system can't seem to handle 8x upscaling smoothly and adding on downscaling doesn't seem to work correctly. I've got a 12700K and Geforce 1080 ti which should eat this for breakfast.

  38. You bought a 2 year old architecture days before new architecture launch. You're 100% at fault and should take responsibility for your own stupidity. Anyone online would have told you that the new cards are about to be announced if you dared to ask, research or search up the topic.

  39. I bought the 3080 ti for $665 new, asswipe. There has not been a better deal posted.

  40. If you're happy with the price you paid days before the new generation then you should be ecstatic, after all you knew what you're getting into. I'm confused. You got what you paid for, a 2 year old architecture, with all the benefits and disadvantages of buying a 2 year old architecture.

  41. I paid a great price for a card that more than doubles the performance of my current 1080 ti. Speaking of which, I bought the 1080 ti about two weeks before the 2000 RTX series launch in 2018 for $552 via EVGA on ebay. That was the lowest price the 1080 ti ever went for brand new to my knowledge. It was the best gaming purchase I've ever made and still running strong at 1440p. Similarly, the price I paid for the 3080 ti may just be the lowest it will ever hit based on the ridiculous 4000 series prices. So really, who's the stupid one here? But go on, keep digging that hole.

  42. I have a pretty strong suspicion he knows that, heh.

  43. That’s a little nicer for sure. So here’s my question tho- we just moved in. I had called the same company the prior owner was using. They had a new customer one year free service contract, so they came out and cleaned/serviced the boiler and hot water heater. I assume that means I’m committed now to buying my oil from them? How would they know if I got a fill from someone else?

  44. Service contracts on most heating systems are a scam in my experience. When I bought my first home, I did the whole service contract and monthly estimated payments for deliveries thing because I didn't know any better. Then I moved to a heating oil co-op system which offered the same thing for less, but I was still getting ripped off. Then I discovered CashHeatingOil.com and went COD from then on. I scheduled my boiler maintenance seperately from the company that delivered the oil for years. I should have just watched some videos on Youtube to see how to thoroughly clean the boiler myself. That's how I handle my current on-demand system.

  45. I don’t know, I think the service contracts for me have been amazing. Especially for a new home Buyer.

  46. You'd typically pay around $125-150 for an annual cleaning. You're probably one of the rare few who actually got more out of the contract than what you put in. Like health insurance, these service contracts wouldn't be pushed so hard by them if they consistently lost money on it. Food for thought.

  47. The fact that the diamond didn't get stolen in an elaborate heist leaves me feeling dissapointed in the cat burglars of the world.

  48. Maybe it did and the one they have is a cubic zirconia replica.
