I'm catching the vibration

  1. John Brown's Body is a moldering in the grave

  2. Horribly misspelled to seem different. The irony is that my boyfriend's name is Krysteffor

  3. Shield Hero is a bad example. Naofumi didn't want her to get the slave seal back after it was removed. She did it to herself because it showed she trusts him to treat her humanely. Eventually it is removed permanently. Slavery is still bad and Naofumi should not have backed down.

  4. Naofumi isn't a perfect hero. He starts out jaded and does things like buy a slave because he's playing the role of the bad guy because that's how everyone treats him. He even goes around being a hero for a price. He didn't want Raphtalia to get the slave seal back.

  5. She turned into a vat of toxic waste and now she's the Toxic Avenger

  6. At this point, I would mess with them. Your time there is already coming to an end.

  7. I think that’s a half truth. Obviously all slavery is bad. But American chattel slavery in many ways was uniquely bad. Partially because of its emphasis on “racial supremacy”

  8. Caribbean slavery took that to a whole new level.

  9. I don't give a shit if William Ellison Jr. was from Mars. Slavery is wrong no matter who does it. The fact that there were African American slave owners doesn't mean Slavery wasn't bad.

  10. "I had reached a point where there no opportunities for me to advance anymore"

  11. I want to know what kept Jason in the woods since he drowned.

  12. This and the '59 Cadillac are the king and queen, respectively, of Winga Dinga Boomer Dream Cars.

  13. I'm not a boomer and I unironically want a late 50s Chevy.

  14. Agreed. Fifty's flowing curves > Sixty's muscular bricks, always.

  15. Pretty much. It's an art form. The car is form over function.

  16. I still know several people who refuse to wear seat belts because they knew a guy who knew a guy who was bifurcated by a seat belt in the 70s.

  17. I don't care for people who say nineteen eighty four is their favorite book. These are the same people who never read it and reference it at any minor inconvenience in their lives.

  18. And I'm doing this shit for free

  19. Yes. But there’s bootleg BD-R’s out there too so always check the bottom of the disc

  20. Yea, I bought 3 off Amazon and they were all BD-Rs

  21. Both sides-ism falls completely flat when one side literally wants to end democracy and install a chrstofascist dictatorship.

  22. And the other side isn't doing much to stop them.

  23. The Chiropractor has entered the chat

  24. I was going to diesel swap my Eagle, instead decided to build a stroker

  25. People that skip out on taxes are doing it all legally utilizing real loopholes left open after Reagan dropped the tax rate from over 70 to near 20.

  26. In all seriousness, I’ve recently come to the opinion that perhaps we shouldn’t worship Sherman as much as we do. Let me be clear about one thing: I think his March to the Sea was wholly justified. However, number one, one must also consider the atrocities against Native Americans when praising him, and number two, he was apparently not one to celebrate an enemy conquered (part of why he hated it when people would play Marching Through Georgia everywhere he went). So, I propose giving some more love to other Union generals, like good old Ulysses S. Grant. That’s all I got for you.

  27. He was a flawed man. Most people were stoked on westward expansion and the caveats it entailed. It was the belief that Americans had a God given right to do it. I can't fault Sherman for being a part of It as it was the style of the time. Think of the things you do that future generations likely would think low of you for despite the good you do. The evil men do lives on after them and the good is oft interred with his bones.

  28. I did mix them up, thank you.

  29. I know what I must do, but I don't know if I have the strength to do it.

  30. Thrift stores is my best bet. Sometimes you find good stuff. I used to go to Blockbuster and Family Video to pick up used titles, but that's all over now.

  31. When you hit your funny bone

  32. It was nice knowing you...for sharing this you're about to be involuntarily unalived

  33. Suicide with two shots in the back of your head

  34. We need to stop equating wealth and intelligence. Tesla was a brilliant man, died poor as hell.
