I believe that is a planned mechanic. It may have been in a very early version of the game (pre-2017 when I started playing) but more likely the video you saw was just a teaser of the mechanic. The mechanic being that you can drag your teammates and resuscitate them. Good luck to BSG with that one. Even DICE couldn't make that shit work.
