I'm in this with you.

  1. Um, I think you meant to say “73.9% are of North Americans are overweight, so far”

  2. I mean, if I get drafted I’m not going to mass murder people. I’d go to jail or flee. Just my 2 cents but the killing people is my objection to the war.

  3. And if you - as a non Russian - got drafted by Russia to straight up murder innocent people?

  4. I am not trying to defend Putin, he is a disgusting example of a human being.... however he did his time and served as a spy master special agent of the KGB....

  5. Fair enough but I wonder to what degree the morale of these Iranians soldier is. Especially with the mass civil unrest in their own country where their wife’s, daughters and all women are facing a brutal suppression. Shit keeps getting worse it seems.

  6. Likely that anybody Iran deployed that far from the motherland would be as ideologically pure as they can find.

  7. Revolutionary Guards is who I’d assume they’d send to do the training. I just think Iran is overreaching and tethering themselves to a sinking ship.

  8. Again, not being a Mideast expert, you’re almost certainly correct. Specifically, likely it’s Quds force

  9. Given that Zeiss are basically anti gun despite selling rifle scopes, I am hopeful that you like the Vortex better 😂

  10. I wouldn't mistake the unfortunate reality of european politics with being anti gun.

  11. And that’s honestly fair, I haven’t exactly scientifically extracted what proportion is zeiss vs zeiss maintaining their optics (not a good pun and it wasn’t intended)

  12. Seems like a big step down in capability in a bolt gun relative to almost any good short action round

  13. Lol, saw that. An interesting concept for benchrest shooting. Though I dont know if I buy it adding accuracy

  14. 100% benefits accuracy and the benefits are more acute the higher up the caliber ladder you climb

  15. I hear you - I've looked a bit at ballistics charts w/ different 7mm rem mag grains and it seems like 140-150 is a good middle-ground, so I bought a few boxes today. I put the 178 gr on the sling "just in case" some big bull elk wanders through my reticle.

  16. 140-150 will put an elk down fine at any reasonable range - say 600 / 700 yards, 178 is nice to even out your dope card but not necessary at all.

  17. It's not, but it drastically reduces losses. If you're only sending in your helicopters with vague information about the enemy, in a hotly contested area, you will suffer high losses for very little gain.

  18. Tbh, these types of missions are higher risk than reward. I would personally withhold my CCA and use them for nothing rather than for this. At least that way they could be used productively later when true opportunity is correct.

  19. This jumps out at me as the same impotent raging that had Hitler firing V2s at London

  20. Not sure who survived but the vehicle is definitely a k kill. BMP protection levels are pretty bad, although the BMP 3 is middlingly better than older models.

  21. To be fair, saying "We claimed X yesterday" gives zero intel to Russia, they know they lost control of something before anyone goes to press. Free intel would be something like "We are preparing to claim X tomorrow".

  22. One would think so, but given Russian command and control I don’t think that’s true in this instance.

  23. This could work in Ukraine's favor though as odd as it sounds...these commanders are already dreading the news they hear via media...and odds are its worse than what the press knows when the report comes in.

  24. Certainly could, and to be fair to both you and Rizeren, most of what we can say on this topic is speculative and inherently qualitative. There’s a certain group of opinions that are obviously not valid (ie: Aliens will use the news from Kherson to pattern human behavior for future conquest) but most are all equally plausible.

  25. They managed to steal the USA best drone before in fact Iran's best drone is a reengineered USA stealth drone.

  26. Eh, it looks the same, but that’s about it. Theirs gets shot down by Apaches - designed to destroy tanks and other ground targets. We’ve lost one, to electronic warfare. Big capability level difference.

  27. "shrewd businessmen", right. Oligarchy in Russia is about how much laws are you going to break, bandits are the ones to benefit in such systems, not capable people.

  28. I think the notion that it’s an oligarchy has been uncovered. It’s an autocracy.
