I'm catching the vibration

  1. LPR here starting it tomorrow to taper off 1.5 months of PPI. Doing 1/2 tab (10mg) in the am and then again before bed. If it doesn't help I have to go up to 1x20mg in a.m. and again at night.

  2. Many individuals have suspected me of being some kind of moron because of my pain; on my worst days, tacit acknowledgements of intellectual disability.

  3. perpetual growth is an illusion... but not for the reason anyone suspects, purely because an advanced civilization slows reproductive function as it becomes more lavish. the human race is no longer threatened, our primordial instincts have been suppressed, resources are too abundant, the instinctual pursuit of constant growth becomes more disconnected from reality as we face less challenges and become complacent.

  4. Reminds me of the military installations from Fallout 3, like Old Olney. The patriotic flag, symbolic of the old world.. a decayed relic of a forgotten time.

  5. Hey so I've been having all these symptoms. I had it years ago and realized it was low stomach acid. Started taking apple cider vinegar and hcl betaine capsules and I was cured..A year later I drank a 12 pack of beer and now here I am a month in. Constantly burping dizziness. Sometimes vomiting.. Could the hcl betaine capsules of caused this since they contain pepsin.

  6. Are you doing anything to treat the vestibular symptoms?

  7. Not presently, although the prospect has occurred to me lately.

  8. Yeah it’s because the way doctors are trained to not treat the cause but the symptoms. You will just get severe rebound acid from taking it. You don’t just get reflux or gastritis something has to trigger it.

  9. Yeah crazy aye. If you are going to take PPI only take the lowest dosage possible for no more then 4-8weeks and remember to taper off of it so you don’t get rebound acid reflux.

  10. Well initially my gut was being destroyed by the h. Pylori bacteria but that was back in 2013. I didn’t know the antibiotics they gave me would destroy my stomach but they all do. It got worse before better. You simply counteract with probiotics or in my case, mastic gum to coat the stomach lining. Mastic Gum also kills h. Pylori so there’s that. Think about it, you only have to be on Prilosec 2 weeks and then your problem will likely be resolved. Otherwise you’ll be stuck taking Famotidine aka Pepcid.

  11. It’s gastritis but it doesn’t sound at all permanent. The vomiting spell perhaps dealt some damage to you stomach lining. I don’t know how long you were vomiting, but as someone who has suffered from bulimia, the more you vomit the more harm you’re doing to your GI system.

  12. I would argue that there is a huge benefit to taking vitamins. That of the placebo effect. If you believe the vitamins are helping you, and I do by the way, they are helping. You can put all the scientific arguments forward to the contrary, but at the end of the day the mind has such a profound effect on your health that I would say it’s more powerful than anything. I will continue to take my vitamins and I will continue to believe that they are fixing any weaknesses in my diet.

  13. Echoing what has already been said. Get on your asthma maintenance medication and stay on it. See an allergist and see what if any allergies you have and try to avoid those things. Immunotherapy might be an additional option if you have allergies. Different things work for different people. Don't get discouraged keep an open mind on various treatment protocols.

  14. did you have a bad experience with a doctor or something ? im sorry if i sound judgmental but i know some people who are very opinionated about this stuff have lol im all for natrual remedies for minor things such as colds but this can end real badly

  15. I am perhaps the most cynical man you will ever make contact with, unfortunately.. My entire life you could practically describe as "How to train a rebel, the compendium". But there is logic behind my decision making. I explained it really well in this comment:

  16. Thank you very much for your tip. I am trying. Yes, stress is very bad for me - i am a student and before exams my asthma triggers so much.

  17. Ask for accommodations from the administrators if you can... I know it sounds ridiculous, but it would save you some breath.

  18. Try to keep your stress levels down... I know that seems almost implausible under your circumstances; but stress will amplify existing issues. You will feel infinitely better after calming down. Just keep your head above the water man. I am rooting for you!

  19. Unfortunately not... It destroyed many of them and/or corrupted them.

  20. Only on Reddit would brazen state-sponsored propaganda gain any morsel of public approval.

  21. Unsurprising to me, video games immerse the player in an alternate world and present them with challenges [ie navigation, puzzles, muscle memory]; it only makes sense that conquering those challenges would exercise the associated brain regions. That has been the case throughout history... Ancient societies punted rocks around but those same skills were toned.
