That's a little funny

  1. I'm not exactly disagreeing with you on the ultimate issue, here. It's more a matter of nomenclature. I'm really not understanding your hostility and passive aggressiveness, but if you think that some part of what I'm saying includes those things, know that wasn't my intention.

  2. Why do you even care to reply to that person? You can't open the eyes of someone who doesn't want them open. They've decided to be a hammer and therefore every problem looks like a nail. They don't care that problems can be a bit complex, just slap sexism on it and that's it

  3. Considering mass shooters have written specifically sexist manifestos , most women who are murdered are killed by their current or ex male domestic partners and so on I would say it’s pretty directly related. Sexist views have been directly linked to lethal force in multiple studies by the UN. Like the above commenter said mental illness individualizes a larger cultural issue.

  4. I’m always surprised by how many black celebrities wear dolce on the red carpet . Like are you not embarrazed 😬

  5. As an Atheist I have to agree, the whole insufferable reddit atheist stereotype really hurt the image of atheism in general.

  6. Amazing dress and looks great on you! How do you think you will style it?

  7. I’m thinking in the summer with a straw hat and maybe a bow in the back to make it look less wedding

  8. Its a lot easier to remove stains from white clothing but if something is so stained or yellowed it's unwearable and it's a sturdy fabric I fill a bathtub with hot water and oxyclean (if it's white i'll add some bleach). I let it soak for a couple of hours or until the water looks gross. then I'll repeat if necessary. I rinse, clean with gentle soap, rinse again and air dry overnight.

  9. Considering art was made to be flatter the subject Imagine how much worse he must have looked in real life

  10. I share the sentiment but the quicker crypto dies, the quicker resources are stopped being wasted on it

  11. Ok I am a moron and I don’t understand how do coins they exist on the computer or expensive pictures of monkeys hurt the environment. someone smart please explain thanks

  12. They use massive amounts of power to keep a constant digital log of everything (that's the blockchain).

  13. Exactly! You don't have to physically discipline your kid to discipline your kid. But just standing there passively watching him throw a tantrum doing nothing...hell no! Even if me taking him to the car and possibly taking him home for the day ruins my plans, I'd rather he learn the lesson that acting like an asshole has consequences.

  14. Ignoring a tantrum is actually a good strategy. As a teacher I do it all the time . When they don’t get what they want to grow out of it .

  15. Nor really young kids cognitively have trouble regulating their emotions. They can get extremely upset over small things have mood swings etc . Over time and with socialization they get their shit together (or if their parent doesn’t teach them how they don’t )

  16. Ok I understand but why is that problematic? Sorry I’m just out of the loop.

  17. I think she pretended to be on a rowing team in high school with fake photos to get into college

  18. No matter if it is truly 80's or not you are a good daughter/son to get your mom something that she will enjoy and look fabulous in.

  19. Oh that’s interesting! I’ve never seen beading this elaborate on a contemporary dress. Thank you for the information.

  20. Every time they introduced a girl as a Christian you just knew she’d have a baby by the end of the season

  21. Another day care story legit had a dad who was worried his 2 year old twin boys were gay for each other because they were “too affectionate “ . He said we needed to physically separate them if they kissed.

  22. I worked at a daycare and my coworkers would do this shit all day long then ppl wonder why kids stop having opposite sex friends , which ironically makes it way harder for them to date later in life cuz they haven’t talked to a girl /boy in 12 years

  23. Oh, I was thinking more Gastons song: "And now that I'm grown I eat five dozen eggs

  24. Glad I read this story til the end. From now on I hope the mom gives her daughter’s feelings more importance than her own.

  25. The cat isn’t even the center of this video

  26. We do live in such a society. My mother taught ESL in Arlington,VA. Every Friday morning she packed sandwich bags with rice, ramen, cans of tuna and fruit.

  27. One of my most heatbreaking moment as a new teacher was when a kid begged me to take an extra bag of baby carrots (school snack) home to share with his siblings . Certain kids backpacks were loaded up with extra snacks from then on.

  28. No one in this country should work and still not be able to feed their family.

  29. I really enjoy gen Z fashion . The muted athleisure wanna be kardasian era was so boring.
