  1. Nee fok bru. I work remotely for offshore clients, I make more than some CEOs in this dead-end.

  2. Get 3 to 5 years of solid experience locally first, otherwise you will be seen as too much of a liability. Make sure your CV, and any public profiles are super professional and well groomed, even hire someone to help if you're not great at copywriting. It goes without saying that you can't be an average slacker just trying to coin it remotely, you need to actually be quite good at your job, great at communication and a genuine team player. Finally its the hustle, just search linked in for remote jobs in your field of expertise, starting with Europe and maybe the US. There are also other websites and agencies that help you get started, reach out to them and ask what open positions they have. When I started it took me literally 2 years to get a remote job, but now that I have it under my belt it's super easy.

  3. The bottom tends to be when almost no one thinks it's the bottom yet (i.e. when almost everyone thinks it will keep going down). Not even kidding.

  4. The problem with this is that most people are acutely aware of this idea by now, so there are several levels of reverse psycology going on.

  5. I should’ve mentioned that this is the part she says she’s incapable of doing right now, which led me here.

  6. It sounds like she doesn't have a clue about how business works. She wants half yet can't afford to cover half of the costs.

  7. More like an s curve, since hours per year has a max cap. It will start curving up now that infrastructure is failing and flatten off when we have 100% load shedding hours per year.

  8. That kind of discussion is best done directly with Eskom and government. Not on Reddit.

  9. Eskom has paid huge early retirement bonuses to senior white engineers to get them to leave. This has been happening since the 90s even and is one of the unspoken truths about this shitshow. Their blatant racism to get BEE cadres in at all costs has now come to its final conclusion.

  10. Be careful with the Netherlands. They are deep into a crippling housing crisis and massive inflation because of the war. There may be jobs but gas has nearly tripled in price and there is nowhere to live.

  11. Just don't live in the city centres and you're Gucci. Plenty of affordable rents within 1 hour drives of Amsterdam, Hague etc. Obviously this applies more to remote workers.

  12. New products and expansion of alcohol market; Hexo partnership and continuing synergies; International expansion and Irwin’s guidance 🔥

  13. I hope you're right. This bleed has been so painful.

  14. Completely incorrect. The satrix top 40 has produced zero growth in USD terms between 2007 and now. Literally zero. A little above zero in Eur but the money would have been much better placed in European indexes.

  15. 15 years not a long enough time frame for you?

  16. There are plenty of easy businesses to start, most of them are not scalable

  17. I just read of a dude making a killing starting an acai bowl truck. Easy to start without too much money, could be a good idea for you.

  18. You wouldn’t get this size gain on SPY options

  19. Why exactly? Are the spx and spy not identical movements?

  20. an eacape from my reality. Just for 30 min to an hour daily would be awesome for me. it needs to be sustainable though. im busy af.

  21. Yeah I bought these over a week ago. There were actually multiple points where I could have sold at a profit but am retarded

  22. Your retardedness is only matched by your honesty. Godspeed fellow trader

  23. I'm a simple man. My goal is to attain $10m in net worth.

  24. Funny some people want to just keep on rolling no matter what. In a bear market people keep rolling their CSP deeper and further out. In bull markets they get behind on CCs and do the same thing

  25. It's almost like the wheel doesn't really work?

  26. If by "work" you mean "magically generate more income than other strategies", then yes, there's no free lunch in stocks and no magic strategy that's just "better" than all others.

  27. The more I learn the more I realize the truth about just DCA into low cost index funds...

  28. I was in a bad place at the time mentally overworked and was desperate to retire so I started to leverage trade, I was very good to the point that I thought I couldn't be wrong. The covid drop got me.

  29. Honestly it sounds like you have a gambling addiction. Have you changed your ways since those losses, and how do you invest now?

  30. And cheese! Delicious cheddar cheese...

  31. Not a great way to make money selling PUTS in a down market.

  32. If the expiry is 2 deltas OTM and we're already 20% down from the top I'd say it's a pretty safe bet.

  33. Basically it means holders are being diluted to shit. I like this company but the shares in circulation has jumped considerably this year.

  34. I got f too. Only Pelosi family can win in this rigged game.

  35. It's one big club and you ain't in it.

  36. What's your annualized return if you can sustain your current growth rate?
