  1. Your entire attitude for your own mistake is pretty concerning. It’s not a client’s responsibility to make sure you aren’t charging them sales tax on something that should’ve never had sales tax to begin with. Therefore it probably never crossed their mind to inform you of their NP status, again probably because they assumed this was common knowledge. If you charge them an hourly rate to fix your own mistake, then as a client I’d comfortably never work with you again. I understand it’s stressful, and it’s okay to make mistakes, but jumping straight to frustration and blame doesn’t really resolve any direct issues, and can only lead to loss of business if it’s not deserved.

  2. Crisis/low cortisol can present with headaches and diarrhea, take a big dose ASAP. You should stay double dosed for a couple of days.

  3. Thank you so much for responding, actually like 10 minutes after I posted this I started crashing really bad. I am fighting the urge to vomit, I took 10mg of HC right when I got nauseous and felt foggy. I usually take 10mg then 5mg, is double dosing that’s enough (assuming I don’t end up in the hospital)? I think looking back I realized I didn’t feel the migraine much in the mornings, but around the time my 10mg would taper down is when it would be worse, so duh that makes sense. I’m sitting beside my injection kit, would I inject the very next time I have diarrhea or if I vomit?

  4. Dude I just pain stakingly scoured the internet looking for an answer to this. This has been happening to my entire project today, and a few of my static images on a project yesterday. Also because of this, keyframing has been absolutely insane. I'd love answers as to why tf this happened, it seems like a bug but im not sure. Most of the images resolved themselves for some reason, and I was able to fix the chronically f*cked ones by right clicking and "scale to frame size" then resizing. I am considering just rolling the update back to previous because this never happened before, unless I am just being royally dumb.

  5. When I was deciding what to put on my ID I read the opinions of emergency responders who said they would like to call you by your name when trying to revive you. I have the same privacy concerns you have so I compromised with my first name only.

  6. That is a really helpful perspective, I’d definitely rather someone who is trying to resuscitate me to call me by my name. Thank you!

  7. IMO the name on it could help if you are found alone and unconscious with finding any info for the hospital so had it put on mine. I got a RoadID which is a band that goes on my watch strap. In terms of people seeing my name they would have to grab my wrist and look at it properly given the font to see my name and you wouldn’t make it out unless you were in very close proximity.

  8. This helps, I really appreciate it! The RoadID bracelet and watch straps look really nice and I was JUST about to order one before running into this dilemma. Thanks!

  9. I always have at least 500mg of caffeine in my blood so that might contribute

  10. No they’re right, 120 resting is ungodly high. Even for me and I have a heart condition that causes mine to go that high when I stand and it feels like death. So either you or your measuring tools are cap, or you need to see a cardiologist immediately. Caffeine or not. Also during sleep your heart rate should be lower, like 40-80. Again I’d double check your measuring tools you’re using to get this information, or see a doctor.

  11. You can imagine flying, but flying in your lucid dream is actually genuinely FEELING flying. You feel and hear the wind, you can make out smells, your chest will even drop like you’d imagine it would. Your question is essentially “how is lucid dreaming different from me imagining stuff?”, and the answer is, exactly how imagining stuff is different from actually experiencing it. It’s very very different.

  12. Sounds like you're describing your IT band. This website has a good list of stretches:

  13. NAD. I have an extremely tight IT band as well, so just speaking from personal experience, my PT taught me to roll out mine with the softest foam roller you can find and it really helped me too. Also don’t expect quick results, I mean expect veeery slow results, but consistency is SO important. Do your stretches every day (edit: build up to every day like doc said as you can tolerate it), just tack it on with another daily routine you might have (showering, getting dressed, getting ready for bed, heck you can even train yourself to stretch with dinner, anything that’ll make it a habit) and just keep on it. I promise it’s so frustrating trying to stretch when the stretch consists of basically just straightening your leg, but just like doc said, you will be able to go further and further as time goes on! I hope you are able to find relief!

  14. As mentioned: you can split your dose however you want! Two-time dosing is indeed very outdated.

  15. Thank you so much for commenting. Based on how this doctor has handled everything up until this point, I almost expected him to dose this way. But I am just very relieved to have the medication. I will look into that thank you! I am trying to find the best dosing times for me so that’s a big help. Today I started at 7am, and am just spacing the 3 doses 5hrs apart and seeing how I feel by bedtime. But I definitely need to do more research.

  16. Yes, that dosing pattern is out of date. Some people still use it and it works for them, everyone is different and it's about finding what works for you.

  17. Thank you so much for responding, I have decided regardless of what he says I am still going to split them up into at least 3 doses, i’m still working of which times would be best, but whatever I figure out I know will be much better for me than 10/10!

  18. adrenal insufficiency is an umbrella term for chronically low cortisol production by your adrenal glands for whatever reason, whether it be pituitary dysfunction, adrenal gland failure, or hyperplasia. the cause of your insufficiency will be determined by further lab work (like an ACTH stim test and imaging). so unless you are on a medication that interferes with the assay they used or on a temporary (<2 weeks) high dose of corticosteroids, a cortisol level that low is adrenal insufficiency, the cause of which will be determined with more testing.

  19. Thank you so much for responding. The units were in ug/dL. I did read this right before calling my cities only Endo, and not 2 months, they are booked until May 17th. I let them know my cortisol level and that my doctor said I should be seen right away, and the desk didn’t even seem to know what that meant, still gave me a May appointment, and put me on a cancellation list. I’m not sure what I should do at this point. I will go to the ER if I need to, but I am kind of hoping I don’t have to wait and get to that point, i’m kind of under quite a lot of stress right now (not related to this test) so I am worried that might push me over the edge.

  20. there's nothing you can really do to treat an adrenal insufficiency besides take cortisol. best way to tide yourself over for now is to drink tons of water and keep your electrolytes up.

  21. Hey there. I also posted this in the newest thread, but I realized I left you hanging, and didn’t know if you had any thoughts about this! I did manage to get an emergency visit with an Endo on the 29th (not so much an “emergency appt” but better than May). He looked at my history and saw I’ve had some pain management injections done in the last two months (scapular injections twice and 8 ribs ablated but kenalog was injected then as well). He pretty much assumed immediately that this was the cause for my low cortisol and pretty much told me not to worry at all and that it’d come back up. He ordered a full adrenal work up (to “be safe”) and hasn’t called to discuss them yet, but my ACTH has shown up on my chart at a 5pg/ml (value range 7.2-63), and my cortisol tested again still at .40. He stated that if all of that aligns with his hypothesis, then we will be good, and just plan to check my cortisol in a month to make sure it’s coming back up, and if not, then he will order more thorough workups (I assume a stim test and maybe others).

  22. Hey there. I posted on the last thread about 2 weeks ago about my labs coming back with a cortisol of <.40ug/dl. I did manage to get an emergency visit with an Endo on the 29th (not so much an “emergency appt” but better than May). He looked at my history and saw I’ve had some pain management injections done in the last two months (scapular injections twice and 8 ribs ablated but kenalog was injected then as well). 23. My closest to success was from doing wbtb and doing this breathing technique before falling back asleep. I would do the big heavy breaths and on maybe the 10th-15th I'd hold it for as long as I could, it gives this wild tingling sensation through the whole body from the excessive oxygen intake. I'm overly sensitive though so the feeling of all that air would really make my throat and nostrils uncomfortably cold and dry, enough so that I didn't find it worth doing. I might have to do it again anyways though because I can't get anything to work lmao.

  24. Have you heard of the Whim Hoff breathing method? It’s super similar to this and might level up your experience!

  25. WILD is extremely difficult to accomplish if you try it the first time you’re falling asleep. That’s because we only tend to have good vivid Dreams during REM sleep, and your first REM cycle doesn’t even start for at least 90 minutes after falling asleep. Definitely check out a sleep cycle chart online somewhere and it’ll make things much clearer. This is why WILD is almost always accompanied with the wake-back-to-bed technique, so that you wake up after x hours of sleep, ideally 4-5 or 7 because your rem cycles get longer the more you have. So when you fall back asleep, you’re going straight from consciousness into a rem cycle, rather than raw dogging it and trying WILD right at bedtime. Also only getting 6 hours max of sleep can definitely inhibit your success in LDing, but I don’t think it was your issue this time. But I’d definitely recommend slowly and incrementally giving your mind and body a longer and more consistent sleep schedule, because they deserve it. I know college can probably be really hectic and busy, but allowing yourself sufficient rest will set you up for success, and you can use LD as your motivation to accomplish that. Best of luck!

  26. Yes you can do this with pretty much anything. However it won’t work if you think/say “I want there to be x”. Your brain is going to create what you believe to be true, so you have to believe with certainty that “the subway WILL show up outside” for example. It still takes a bit of practice, I think for everyone, because our brain isn’t quite used to the idea of actually being able to animate things from thin air, fly, etc. So the less subconscious self doubt you have, the faster you will be able to practice full control over absolutely anything.

  27. I have searched on Google for things like “dog figurine play set bin” and things of the like. The only remotely close thing ove found is called the schleich farm world puppy playpen, just because the dog figurines are designed similarly (as close as I can remember), and the little toys and dog house included heavily reminds me of the things that were included to put on top of the landscape on top of the bin.

  28. I would be willing to safely assume the majority of new LDers go into it with a very similar “bucket list” of things they want to do first once they’re lucid and practiced enough to do so. The first time flying in a Ld is the most exciting, same with exploring or finally learning to change your surroundings on a whim. These aren’t necessarily (at ALL) every persons lucid dream contents alone, and I certainly LD about all sorts of stuff. But when we’re finally figuring this stuff out, it’s exciting, we post on Reddit about it, we tell people, we write comments sharing our experiences. Someone that has been LDing for years (not that it’s less exciting) isn’t going to be still shouting at the rooftops what happened in their lucid dream every time they have one after 2+ years (or more depending on the person) of having them consistently. That’s why you always see similar things, we’re not very creative at first when we’re suddenly put in a reality with zero limits, and god like abilities, it’s a hard concept to fully internalize for a while. So we tend to make our reality based on what we expect, or for example, if you’ve been reading this subreddit for 6 months before finally having one, your mind will fill in the blanks with experiences of others you’ve read over and over again.

  29. I don't even know why I just hate Jay Leno with a passion
