I'm catching the vibration

  1. How do you already need to sell a reservation just 4 hours after you booked it?

  2. Uh, excuse you my dog ate a mosquito this morning, so clearly he's still a natural hunter.

  3. Yeah, my dog was an animal killing machine (against our wishes). I don't know what that person is saying.

  4. Thanks everyone! I read the rule of thumb is they need to pee every 1 hour/month + 1 hour, so I wasn't sure.

  5. I haven't had the GIII from WS, but my friend had it and said it was great, also the GIII vineyard is a really great vineyard in general (especially if you like Napa Cabs). That being said, as far as I'm aware it might bee a bit steep for that vineyard. You can get Myriad's GIII for $175 and GIII reserve off the list for about $175 and $195, and it was even less than that until recently.

  6. Peloton is definitely a style of metaverse, same as Zwift.

  7. There is a lot of variation, but yes they are quite tall. I find people regularly overestimate how heavy mine is.

  8. The floof (on some of them) make them look much bigger than they are. My neighbor has a Newfoundland who looked as big as my dog, but he was 32 lbs smaller with a fluffy coat, while my dog had a short coat.

  9. Yeah, it is kinda random. I was just curious as I read that Great Pyrenees can be up to 32 inches tall at the shoulder, compared to 30 inches for the Caucasian Shepherd, which did not seem right

  10. Well, COs are usually stockier from what I've seen, so maybe GPs are around the same higher or taller. Also, those are just approximations, if anything, so you'll find a lot of variation. My Central Asian Shepherd was 33" - 34" inches at the shoulders from what I remember, which is taller than what you'll find on Wikipedia and he wasn't ridiculously huge for the breed (182 lbs).

  11. A responsible breeder shouldn't let the buyers choose the specific dogs. Maybe it's somewhat breed dependent, but the breeder knows the dogs best and should place them according to best fit.

  12. Plus throwing rocks at someone like that is at least assault with a deadly weapon. Not that he’ll likely be charged for that, but I’m guessing they’ll take it pretty seriously.

  13. That's not assault with a deadly weapon... it was small rock, not a cinderblock.

  14. You reminded me, I have a 2015 MKC somewhere. Maybe I'll open it in 3 years.

  15. In addition to the illegality, a "blend" is looked down upon by many. Most french wines are blends.

  16. Yeah, everyone looks down on Krug, Huat Brion, d'Yquem, Harlan Estate, Grange, SQN, etc.... sucks for all of the shops that can't move those off the shelves

  17. Lollllllll. Dial it back bruh. Yea like the average Joe is buying Sqn and Krug. I said “many” not “all”. Many wine drinkers know next to nothing about wine…. That’s just reality. Did you know “red blend” labeled wines are some of the hardest to sell? Maybe it’s because “gasp” it’s a blend.

  18. Even if you want to talk about the average Joe and sales volume, look at Franzia, Apothic Red, 19 Crimes, etc.

  19. I dunno. How many bottles of truly great stuff could you actually lose? Truly great also has a pretty good chance of outliving you anyway...

  20. Even if I only had 100 bottles, I think it'd be hard to remember every bottle I have and what their ideal drinking windows are, how many I have left, etc. Even with keeping track, sometimes I think "oh, I'll open this bottle since it's great and I still have 3 left" only to look and see I actually only have 1 left and then I decide to save it so I can see how it ages.

  21. 100 isn't hard to track either so really, you are totally doing something that works. When you get to several hundred bottles of young wine that isn't ready for a decade, priorities change.

  22. Yeah, I'm at several hundred and I'd lose stuff and drink stuff too soon if it wasn't for record keeping on CT.

  23. Now, the people that were about to walk in and apply are just turning around.

  24. Honestly, I am unreasonably confident that Spike wins. Not for any reason besides it’d be on-brand for Bellator’s golden boy to lose to a random guy without much acclaim

  25. He was fun to watch on his brief UFC run. Not a complete no name.

  26. As much of a twat I think he is, I feel like he comes off surprisingly normal here (even if it's an ad for Howler Head).

  27. At a steakhouse I worked at, we served them whole for a long time. Dumb customers would cut the steak with the grain and then complain the steak was tough and send it back.

  28. I can't believe this. I feel like this is one of the most basic concepts in cooking (and eating). How do people make it to adulthood and not learn how to eat meat?

  29. Fancy in this context I think doesn’t mean expensive steakhouse, but a dish at a gastronomy restaurant or Michelin star type place.

  30. I've had steak at Melisse, Manzke, Cut, Spago, and other similar places, and the steak was never precut into pieces for me. Borago did serve me precut slices of lamb, but that's because they cook the whole lamb at once and slice of small servings to order.

  31. Nah, great fries are worth it. Bell's in CA has the best fries!

  32. Even more significantly, upon request, the company needs to tell current employee the salary range for their positions. My HR team will be getting a request from me on January 1st.

  33. Given what's on the list, I'm surprised there's no Alban or Aubert, and to a slightly lesser degree, Saxum.

  34. Ok but if Islam wins he’s champion. So if Volk wants the LW title he needs to fight Islam. Charles will have to go fight Gamrot, Fiziev or someone else

  35. It makes more sense for Volk to fight a top 10 - 5 LW first anyway. Show us you can perform at a high level in the actual weigh class.

  36. Honestly if Islam wins id like to see him actually defend the belt against someone in the the division. I do sympathize with Volks plight, he just wants to fight someone other than Max Holloway.

  37. There are tons of great fights for him though. Put him against any top 10 LW, kind of like how Silva used to randomly go destroy dudes at LHW.

  38. In what grade to do these kids learn "stop, drop, and roll"?

  39. We got him at 3 months and he's been mellow so far (4.5 months now). We'll see if this continues...

  40. This subreddit just circle jerks each other with comments about how Dana White is evil and anyone else that disagrees is a UFC shill. If it’s not Dana white then it’s some poorly recycled Brendan Schuab reference that’s been posted ten thousand times already.

  41. I think the majority of this sub thinks they're posting to

  42. They are cool looking. That being said, I can't imagine paying even a fraction of $5,000 for them.

  43. Definitely learned from PVZ, Sage Northcutt, etc about too much too soon. You lose nothing booking early-stage talent against journeymen, and it does a great job building their confidence/skill.

  44. Especially if Bo is able to continue walking out of the cage unscathed and have very quick turnarounds.
