  1. Who would have the incentive to mine after the next few halvings? Rewards would be so low even if BTC price was in the 500,000s

  2. I think the 2032's halving is going to be the most important one on the history of bitcoin, when the reward becomes lower than 1 BTC for the first time. This is where the transaction fees will become relevant for the miners and the security of the whole system will be tested. Also, the scarcity will increase the demand high enough to potentially lead to world mass adoption during that cycle. And us, who believed on bitcoin at least 10 years ago, will hopefully all be really wealthy by then.

  3. I know this post is old, but I tried to do it now and the console gave me this error message: "Key path value '' is not a valid uint32"

  4. Imagine if it finds a block by pure chance.

  5. For the less tech savvy, download Blitx, Phoenix, or Breez to run nodes on your phone.

  6. I would run a Lightning Node if there was no need to buy a RasPi to do it, I wish there was a way to run it on PC just like Bitcoin Core.

  7. Tonight tonight by The Smashing Pumpkins? Bully Corgan sounds kinda girly in it

  8. Nope, it really is a woman who sings it. And it's also a more recent song, with eletronic music on the background

  9. No, unfortunately it's not this one. The "tonight, tonight, tonight (...)" sequence is in the middle of the song.

  10. North korea. They'll need XMR-ETH swaps after the closure of tornado cash. /s

  11. Tornado Cash might've been OFAC'd but it still works just fine

  12. Monero is an anti-state coin, it doesn't make sense for it to be officially adopted by any state.

  13. A Globo não é de esquerda e nem de direita, é uma empresa monopolista filho da puta que defende os seus próprios interesses.

  14. I'm using Samourai Wallet, which uses BIP39 with passphrase as standard. I want to export it to a wallet that uses BIP84, but I don't know the mnemonic seed of it, just the extended keys.

  15. Damn, never noticed Monopoly had this kind of social criticism

  16. How are they doing this? Is there a tutorial or something?

  17. It really puts into perspective how rediculous I have been worrying about buying at 24k when it was at 20k lol

  18. I still miss the 20k price though, hope it comes back soon

  19. I think it's out now, if you have the update do it now I guess.

  20. How much does it cost to build a mining farm like this one?

  21. I'm not storing my funds on Bitcoin Core, if that's what you're asking. I don't feel safe to use a wallet on PC, it might be infected with malware.
