ButtholeQuiver

  1. Like lotteries, this is a tax on people bad at math. (And damned if I didn't have to do the math after you pointed it out.)

  2. Under 21 trying to bring absinthe home. I like the cut of your jib, kid

  3. In my 40s. Drink with kids half my age when I'm on the road, not a big deal. I don't care if it's weird, I think it's fun, and most of the young people I party with seem to be cool with it. A few years ago I was bumming around Europe and all these 18-25 year olds I was getting wasted with asked me for my contact info so we could meet up in other cities, and they actually followed through.

  4. That was certainly a game for the ages, let’s never do that again pls

  5. Kraken were down 8-6 after the Kings scored a TD and went for the 2pt conversion. The Kraken went on to win 9-8 with a game winning field goal

  6. That's not what happened, Kraken were up 8-6 and the Kings tied it up

  7. In my 40s, I used to party-travel very hard in my 20s and 30s, was kind of nervous for my first significant post-pandemic trip, especially since COVID kicked the living shit out of me. Warned my buddy that I might not have it in me like I used to.

  8. I have no skin in this game but I'll probably check out the 3rd, sounds fun

  9. Keeping kids in mind I would go with Scotland or Japan. I love Patagonia but it has huge stretches that aren't that comfortable, and not as kid-friendly as the other two would be. Met some families going through there with kids aged 10-16, they had a great time but 3-10 might be tough.

  10. If you're flying to Suvarnabhumi they have a place you can pay to check some baggage (or they did the last time I flew through in 2016). I landed there from New Zealand with a shitload of camping gear in tow, traveled around for six weeks, picked up my shit on the way out. I think it was about $200, which is a lot but presumably just a coat would be less.

  11. Wow, that's pretty expensive, especially for Thailand. Also, Thailand was just my most recent example. Next time it comes up, it will probably be a different combination of cities. Is that something just specific to Suvarnabhumi, or is it something I might find in most major airports?

  12. I've seen it around a few places, that's on the cheaper end. It was a fair bit of gear though, and it was for six weeks. You could probably find somewhere cheaper but this was like around the corner from the check-in counter so I was paying for convenience for sure.

  13. I don't like that you asked this question with this image specifically

  14. I checked out the FIFA page and couldn't find coordinates in any JSON from the website but did on TSN.ca. Check out this JSON:

  15. If your shit looks like that you need to see a doctor quick

  16. I spent two winters in Ireland, one in Dublin and one on the west coast (much of it in the Aran Islands). I personally didn't find it that cold, but plan to get wet. You will absolutely want to bring good rain jackets, appropriate footwear, and if not rain pants then pants that dry off quickly.

  17. For most points it's pretty straightforward, there's a fixed range of values that map to a UTM zone code, but there are irregular areas you need to be aware of.

  18. Really appreciate the response! What would the math be? Maybe I’m not understanding it correctly.

  19. Excluding the irregular areas, UTM zones are six degrees wide and are differentiated by the equator (you'll have a different EPSG code for the same longitude north and south of the equator). Is your data global or within a specific region?

  20. Still a solid -1 for the lack of eagles. If you're going full 'murica then you better damn well have at least 1 eagle.

  21. Seriously. Most people aren’t sitting on Reddit hoping to get mad at something someone else does. It’s his dogs initial, pretty cool touch and that’s the end of the story

  22. There are a few different ways to do this. If you've got an Item ID, open the service using the Item ID, then drill down:
